Shea Couleé x Peerspace

The legendary all-winners edition of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars may be over, but Shea Couleé shows no signs of slowing down.

The internationally-renowned drag queen, model and recording artist is celebrating the release of her latest music video, Let Go / Your Name.

Filmed in the Neon Warehouse

The songs encapsulate her love for music from iconic artists from the 70s, 80s, and 90s while seamlessly feeding into each other in the music video. Both tracks are from Shea’s highly-anticipated debut album expected next year via her record label, Haus Down Records.

For Shea, the concept for the accompanying music video was clear, where an unwavering vision and her impeccable eye for visuals come together to bring her new sound to life.

“My vision for this music video was to create a fantasy world that felt like an abstract nightclub from the future, but with a lot of 80’s Janet Jackson flair.”

Shea partnered with Peerspace to find the perfect space to reflect the song’s vibe, a 3,000-square foot neon warehouse with a color-changing LED ceiling.

“This Peerspace helps me bring my vision to life by giving me the ultimate blank canvas. Not only are the ceilings, the floors, the walls, white, giving us the ability to change color, the lights here also change as well. I feel like color presents so much emotion and we’re able to evoke so much in this space with just the flip of a switch.”

“The space in which I am existing affects the way that I move and carry myself in it. So once I find a space that really suits my needs, it just helps me to bring my vision to life that much easier.”
