As the president, founder, and sole proprietor, I am solely charged with advancing the Beck Entertainment regarding creating space and opportunity for Black, Brown, and marginalized groups wishing Chicago's media and entertainment industry. This means networking, organizing, and connecting Chicago artists with one another with the goal of creating art content that heals and create a positive narrative that is a true representation of out black and brown women and men and our culture on the South sides of Chicago.
This space will be used for the Chicago artists, whom we call upon to work with on this compilation EP, to organize ideas and create and record music. Should there be enough there be enough within the budget, we will record (video) shorts for each track on the EP.
Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.
Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.
Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
