#SharecessPeace is not only an ep or musical body of work. It is the soundtrack to the charitable and social efforts that I have been engaging in this creative process. We want to not only bring and spread awareness for social and civil rights issues, but this intuitive has involved helping different sectors of the community that are suffering. Such as the homeless, felon mothers and our continued awareness of lives lost at the hands of police. I started this project off with a single I released in 2020 following the murder of George Floyd. We created at #Catpaign for “No Justice No Peace” the song has amassed over 100k streams our goal was to achieve 84,600 streams to commemorate the 8min and 46 seconds that led to George Floyd’s death. I performed at many of the protests and plan to continue this blueprint for the release of the full ep.
If we are granted this space we will use it to shoot the visuals for this Ep. we have songs dedicated to Breonna Taylor, Black Love, Police reform, Felon mothers and many more conscious tracks. Each of the songs will hold its own visual.
Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.
Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.
Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
