The cause I'm working on is a unique effort to try to combat BULLYING, CYBERBULLYING, FIGHTING & SCHOOL & COMMUNITY threats. I've created a web based software application that allows children and/or students to report bullying or school or community situations anonymously. My application has a 2-7 second destination time that allows school staff, administrators, school security, community service members, etc., to receive a email and/or text instantly; that a critical situation has presented itself and needs to be addressed immediately. With this heads up, it can possibly save a situation from leading to some getting hurt or even possibly killed.
If I win the Peerspace project, I will use credits awarded to me to conduct my photoshoot and shot my videos for the marketing of the software for schools and communities.
Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.
Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.
Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
