The cause I am working on at present is to promote positive images of Black Men and Black Women. This cause is symbolic of a greater cause that is my life’s purpose: to create harmonies and balance betwixt Human Beings and Earth. I am connected to this cause because I’ve been called to it. I am an independent recording artist, writer, actress and community advocate. I’ve operated independently within my community to better the environment and recently have been able to participate with organizations like the Truth to Power Project, East Point Parks and Recreation (in East Point Atlanta, GA), Joppee Momma’s Farm (an urban farm in Dallas, Texas), and finally my own small business, Mind Over Matter Enterprises; a Science and Art program for youth, young adults and anyone interested in and dedicated to restoring, building and regenerating sustainable communities.
I will utilize the space to film music videos, podcasts, short films, documentaries, interviews and live musical performances and recordings.
Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.
Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.
Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
