We are working on producing our 8th annual fundraising luncheon in Los Angeles and need a wonderful space to host it at. I am the founder of the non-profit and I donate my time raising money to help young girls ages 11-17 who have parents that are affected by domestic violence, or they have been sex-trafficked and have a parent diagnosed with breast cancer. Our organization works hard to raise awareness in our inner city communities about social issues that impact our communities of color and we offer solutions to the young women that help empower them and change the narrative.
We will host a scaled-down cove safe event that will help raise money for our non-profit. It will allow us to bring in some major speakers to help us reach our goal this year.
Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.
Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.
Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
