About this project

Their cause

To Bromelia Swimwear, producing ethically is sustainability on a human level. We champion underserved communities through fair-waged fashion and seek out individuals who have a story to tell through patterns, design, art and photography. These are not corporate executives, but real people with native ideas. We hold true to the slow fashion movement as we create pieces to promote inclusivity and body positivity. With incredibly soft UV-50 protecting fabrics, rich tones, and seamless silhouettes, Bromelia is for making statements and making memories.

How they'll use their space

This Peerspace grant would help greatly in the flow of next season’s editorial project and the launch of our next campaign. We would use the space as a backdrop for our first X-Large female positivity photo shoot!

What is Space for Change?

Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.

Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.

Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
