DLD for Youth, was established to facilitate a learning environment that is focused on helping young men who are underserved, underprivileged, and the disenfranchised population. Our program teaches computer literacy, economic literacy, vocational skills, and violence prevention. It was through my own personal experience, dealing with the Judicial System with one of my sons' being falsely accused of assault and battery motivated me to start this Diversion Program.
DLD will host a evening of elegance for our sponsors and donors. This will be a ticketed event, in hopes to raise more funding for our youth. This will allow us to continue to generate Hope in the underserved communities.
Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.
Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.
Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
