Our goal is to tell the stories of "Black" creatives and Military Veteran story tellers. As "Black" creatives we understand the need to be represented in this industry. We will ensure that stories from this marginalized communities are available in the marketplace. Because we are all Veterans of the United States Military who managed to find creativity during service, we have noticed that when people leave service after this same experience, they are often forgotten about. We exist to assist them with expressing their ideas as well.
We will use it to shoot a pilot. Because we try and be as resourceful as possible, we will use it to represent as many locations as we can to cut down on production costs.
Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.
Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.
Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
