Contagion Media is an art platform for artists of all mediums to showcase their art, sell products, offer services, and connect with the art community. Our ultimate mission is to help artists break the artist stereotype by offering support and resources to artists seeking to break boundaries in their communities. I am connected to Contagion Media because it is a vision that came to me because it is my purpose. Art has the ability to change the world, and we want to help artists make the world more beautiful with human connection.
If Contagion Media were selected for this sponsorship, we would use this $1,000 credit to help local artists be seen in an effort to help them further their careers. One project our team has been talking about is starting a modeling agency here in Arizona because models we work with are constantly complaining about the lack of paid work. Another project we have been thinking about is renting a location to launch this modeling agency featuring clothing pieces by local Arizona designers. We would also like to start hosting paint nights for local artists to teach community about art technique!
Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.
Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.
Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
