About this project

Their cause

Partners Kashif Uqdah and Cameron Wright fuse their recent projects and display excerpts for a joint show titled “LIBERXTED.” Whether it be conforming to gender binaries, white supremacy, or any other man-made structure that limits our beings, this presentation of live music and film will give a glimpse into a world otherwise and also act as a preview of their forthcoming collaborative publication, “LIBERXTED,” which was birthed from their two projects joining as one.

How they'll use their space

We will utilize the space by displaying a cohesive presentation that fuses film excerpts from “Price of Freedom”, live music from “Revelations”, and visual displays that are part of one or both projects.

What is Space for Change?

Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.

Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.

Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
