I am currently trying to raise money to establish an initiative I refer to as the Striker Foundation. Once established, the foundation will provide monthly meetings for under privileged youth in Orange County to assist in preparing them for their future. The targeted age group is middle and high school students. The content of the meetings will include mentorship, college readiness, technical school readiness, job training, academic support, individual and family therapy, and encourage political awareness.
I will be using this space to host a showcase of items from my line of apparel in efforts to raise awareness of the need and funding for the establishment of the foundation.
Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.
Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.
Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
