About this project

Their cause

My vision for Woven has always been to bring people together, cultivate stronger communities, and provoke storytelling. In light of this passion and commitment, I am proud to introduce Woven With Purpose - series of small custom label wines that support hyperlocal nonprofits while amplifying voices that speak for social justice.Proceeds from the inaugural ‘Scholarship Pay Pinot’ directly benefit the Oregon Dove Scholarship promoting equity in higher education. This program was founded by the Pi Alpha Zeta Sorority and is granted to local female students who are graduating high school in Washington County, Clackamas County, or Clark County. Additional project are in the works and will be coming soon!

How they'll use their space

One year ago I was forced to close my urban tasting room and gathering space in Portland's downtown Pearl District due to the pandemic. This scholarship will provide me the ability to host a launch party / pop-up shop to promote the project and raise money for participating local nonprofits.

What is Space for Change?

Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.

Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.

Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
