About this project

Their cause

We are working on creating worlds and bridging gaps between cultural divides within multiple communities of peoples. For example, shining an inspirational light on cultures like the Armenian community with my recent movement installation Komiitas and Exiistence highlighting; Gentrification, Incarceration, and Perfection in a Science Fictional aspect. As a BIPOC man in America, I am dedicated to building up my fellow communities having not had many educational opportunities afforded to myself as a youth. I am passionate about bringing these installations to locations all across Los Angeles, especially to the grand scapes that Peerspace has in its possession. Let us collaborate on the future of movement.

How they'll use their space

We would love to share one of our Epiic Movement Installations inside of your establishment and have it recorded via live stream to multiple people who could not be present in the surrounding communities. Using movement, auditiorial senses, & philosophical concepts we plan to bring to light some of the many egregious happenings that are taking place in the city presently. Topics of discussion; our unhoused neighbors, tension within BIPOC communities, and mental health.

What is Space for Change?

Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.

Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.

Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
