About this project

Their cause

A Little Day Brunch is a community that brings women from all ethnic backgrounds, passions, and purposes in life to come together to grow within ourselves and within our connectivity with one another. We focus on who a woman is at the core instead of what they look like on and off paper. ALDB strives to be the home for every woman's revolution. Through our events, we commit to curating spaces that empower women's voices and champions their individual stories as our own.

Since its inception, ALDB allows our guests not only the opportunity to be educated by others' experiences, stories, and knowledge, but also to engage in unique conversations within a warm and safe environment. If this time has taught us anything, it has shown us that we are not having enough candid conversations with one another. With everyone shying away from voicing their opinions, or worrying about asking the wrong questions, it has made us scared to simply learn others experiences and viewpoints. It has made us live in fear of being wrong.

We are curating socially distanced, and outdoor spaces for healthy discourse, where women feel safe, respected, and protected. Each event has a different theme, a rotational featured woman chef, and curated dialogue to make the space feel like home. Although a limited amount of women will be in attendance, we will allow women to virtually join in to the listen to the conversation. We are curating a home at the table for all women to speak, feel, and love candidly and openly.

What is Space for Change?

Peerspace is on a mission to bring people together. We believe it is impossible to achieve that goal unless we also fight for equality and access to resources in the communities we serve.

Having a space to gather, create, and exchange ideas is an important part of any movement. In order to magnify voices that are often quieted, Peerspace will sponsor venues for people who challenge prejudice and fight for social justice and equality.

Each quarter, we will sponsor space for three projects that are relevant to our community. These projects can range from fundraisers and educational initiatives to art exhibits and photo series.
