About the Peerspace Open Door Awards

Open Door Award winners are determined using an algorithm designed to surface spaces that are catalysts for creativity and operated by high performing hosts. This algorithm takes into account factors such as bookings, listing views, host response time, and guest ratings and reviews. These awards are determined using all relevant data from 2022. All active spaces in the select cities that met the criteria were considered.

Peerspace reserves the right to determine which spaces are eligible for awards, including eligibility based on their space metrics and performance, whether or not their space is active, and whether the hosts have adhered to our community guidelines, terms and conditions, and any incidents or actions that have taken place on our platform or during a booking.

The 2023 Open Door Award winners were determined considering data from the full year 2022.

Being a Power Host is not a requirement for eligibility for the Open Door Awards; however, since host performance metrics are factored into the algorithm, many of the Open Door Award winners are also Power Hosts.

There is no application required for the Open Door Awards. Hosts in eligible cities are automatically considered for the awards.

There are 660 winning spaces across the meetings, event, and production categories.

The Open Door Awards are awarded to individual spaces, so hosts can have multiple award-winning spaces in a category. Likewise, spaces that are listed for multiple use types (i.e. meetings, events, and production) can win in multiple categories.

The inaugural 2023 Open Door Awards includes 23 cities across the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, and France.

Look for next year’s awards in early 2024.
